The Last Article

Langer (left) & Schotz (right)

As many of you know by now, this is the last article that will be posted to Taking Bad Schotz. Thanks to all of our family, friends, fans, and random athletes that have supported us over the years and inspired us to continue producing content.

On behalf of all of the people I just mentioned, including the staff, I would like to give a Manute Bol sized thank you to Mr. Zach Schotz himself. Not to get nostalgic, but it seems like just the other day it was freshman year and he was on the phone explaining to me the unique concept of Taking Bad Schotz and how we would be able to execute all of his visions.

Although a little crazy and farfetched at the time, Schotz was able to recruit a worldwide staff, get in communication with some of the world’s top athletes, and put smiles on countless faces through evaluating who was a bigger bust between Peter North and Kwame Brown, analyzing Backyard Baseball, and a wide range of other sports stories. Just like Mike Eruzione, Schotz did not get intimidated by professionals or critics and went out there and competed with the best of ‘em.

So one last time, take a bad shot in honor of the website, and as usual, #NoChasers
