RB: Charles Sims (Junior, Houston)

With Case Keenum gone, Houston’s air-attack might be forced to retreat (at least a little), enabling the ground game led by Charles Sims to excel. In his limited 110 rushing attempts, he had 821 yards (7.5 AVG) and nine rushing touchdowns. He also helped out Keenum with 51 receptions, 575 yards, and four touchdowns. Expect Sims to remain very active receiving out of the backfield, but he should also receive more carries. Simms can compile 1,500 total yards and 15 total touchdowns in his junior season.

RB: Zach Line (Senior, Southern Methodist)

Line is monstrous at 6-1 230 pounds. In ten games last season, (cut short due to a foot injury) Line rushed over the century mark in eight games. He also had five games of two or more scores, leaving him with 17 touchdowns. Line also was on pace to break the 1,500-yard mark as his season ended with 1,224. This season Line should truck through the C-USA with 1,500 yards and 25 touchdowns. Look out for Line; he’s hard to miss.
